Transfer of Light

Light illuminates the world around us. Thanks to it we can see things. But what is light composed of? Where does it come from?
In this video, we will learn how light is propagated and its relation to energy, as well as the main natural and artificial light sources. We will also discuss the reflection and refraction of light, and how these phenomena explain the composition of light and the colours we see.

This video explores various sources of light, including natural and artificial. Students will learn about these two types of light sources and examples for each, as well as how some light sources can produce heat.

An example of a natural light source is the sun and an example of an artificial light source is a lighthouse. There are materials that behave differently with light: transparent, translucent and opaque. Transparent materials allow light to pass through them. Translucent materials are those that allow some light to pass through. Opaque materials are those that don't allow any light to pass through.
