A Database is an organised collection of information. The information ranges from academic, peer-reviewed journal articles, newspaper articles, ebooks, encyclopedias and images. Generally, but not always, the information is not freely available other than to the subscribers of the database. 

Searching databases is an information literacy skill. This page will provide you with guidance on how to effectively search our databases.
